Project O.R.O. (
Operation Reach Out)
Light of Restoration Ministries and
Faith Unlimited Inc. have joined efforts around a new
and innovative HIV / AIDS / HEPC and substance abuse project,
“ Operation Reach Out”
The goal of this
‘Faith Based” project is to increase access,
HIV prevention, Counseling and testing for traditionally
underserved Latino and African American Men and Youth;
with a special focus on the prison re-entry population
in Holyoke, MA.
Services Provided
for are as follows:

Drop-In center (open 9am – 2pm.
Monday – Friday)
·
Intake
·
Referrals ( Health, Dental, Housing,
Detoxification, Counseling, Food, etc.)
·
Case Management
·
Educational Groups: topics include health issues as well
as prevention
·
Community Outreach: street, home and community agencies
·
Emergency Food and Clothing ( distributed by referral
only)
·
Monthly Food Distribution through our in house Food Pantry
·
ABE, Pre-GED, GED, ESL, Computer classes, Job searches
held at and through our onsite Technology Center ( H.C.T.C.)
·
Restoration Groups ( held on Thursdays)
·
‘Soup for the Soul’ ( held on Wednesdays for
the women)
·
Movies, Videos, Arts and Crafts
